The Field Tester

Sarah lives full-time in a converted Sprinter van named "Sunny." She has traveled over 50,000 miles across North America, relying 100% on solar power to work remotely.

While Alex tests the voltage in the lab, Sarah throws the gear into the back of her van and drives into the desert. She tests for durability, portability, and ease of use. If a solar panel cracks after one drop, or a generator handle breaks, she'll tell you.

Her Philosophy: "Gear should work when you're tired, cold, and in the dark. If it's too complicated to use at a campsite, it's useless."
